IDTG Asia was roped in to work on this first real escape game in Malaysia from its conceptualising stage. At that point, the concept of escape games was a hit worldwide but still very much unknown locally. We worked closely with the Escape Room team every step of the way in building a strong brand that eventually led to global franchising success.
We strategised a multi-pronged marketing approach with focus on educating and converting customers, allowing the brand to create a strong foothold in an untapped market that later proved to be highly competitive.
The term ‘Escape Room’ eventually became synonymous to ‘real escape game’ globally, attracting collaborations with various big brands, media houses, universities, and even government agencies.
